About the Maker
Jena Pantano
Hi, I’m Jena! Maker, dog trainer, and former pastry chef turned software engineer. My background in psychology and behavioral science naturally led me to dog training, where I combine structure, communication, and creativity to help dogs and their people thrive.
I founded Paisley Dog Gear & Training to design gear that actually works and supports real training goals. My first service dog, Paisley, still inspires everything I make, and Tallulah, my Bordoodle and service dog in training, helps test it in trick, freestyle, and task work.
I’m a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and an Associate Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). I’m working on continuing education in behavior and learning theory to better serve dogs and their people.

Paisley
The OG service dog. Sweet, calm, and retired... but still the inspiration behind it all. My first dog ever and the reason I fell in love with training, canine communication, and the power of a true bond. Paisley supported me through some of the hardest years of my life. She worked with quiet confidence, always by my side, always steady. Though she’s now enjoying retirement (and plenty of naps), her legacy lives on in every leash I make and every dog I help train. None of this would exist without her.
